3 Ways To Know You’ve Got A GREAT Coach

There are tons of Personal Trainers out there. OK ones, good ones, exceptional ones. How can you tell if yours is one of the best?

1) Attention to detail


An exceptional PT should pay close attention to the finer details of coaching (newsflash – these things are actually fundamentals!) I’m talking about stuff like exercise execution. My clients know this is basically an obsession for me! How can you get next-level results if you’re not being coached on the details?


2) Programme design


Is your training plan tailored to you? Bespoke? Does your coach listen to you (and look out for other cues) and amend your plan as you progress? A really great training plan is both simple AND detailed…and a really great coach should be able to do this.


3) There for you


As a coach, I want clients to develop consistency with their training and healthy habits. How can I expect them to do that if I’m not there for them? Your coach should be a constant, in and out of the gym. Reliable. Trustworthy. In your corner.
