It’s actually never been a better time to prepare!
Here are our 5 TOP TIPS:
1. PREP - Prepare your meals and snacks – and prepare a schedule for eating them! Plan, prep, and stick to it. This removes any possibility of deviating from your plan.
2. SLEEP - Make sleep a priority. Aim for 6-8 hours of sleep a night. Focus on being in bed and resting for 8 hours, the sleep will come.
3. CALORIES - Minimise unnecessary sources of high calories. Cook with low-cal spray oils, not free pours of actual oil. Yes, olive oil is a source of healthy fats – but you don’t want to add extra calories during a transformation.
4. STEPS - Make your daily step count another priority – hitting a good step count is important as your actual workouts for burning calories and general health. Schedule walks in your diary. Make an effort to hit your target number every day.
5. TRAINING - The best way to train for body transformation is to separate your cardio from your strength training. Aim to perform at your highest capacity in every session. Ideally, do cardio in the pm after training in the morning. If you must do cardio in the same workout, do it after your weights session.
